Welcome to Destiny’s Door!

Coaching is the most exciting profession I have been a part of since it focuses on empowering women instead of fixing them (we really don’t need fixing, we just want support).  It’s incredibly effective!

I am a Life Coach because I am passionate about seeing women achieve amazing things when they fully accept their own greatness. I want all women to see how incredibly smart, talented and beautiful they are.  They are wrought with purpose and freely given choice.  

On a practical level, I bring to my sessions a variety of life experiences. 
I know what it’s like to face incredible trials and I’ve experienced the thrills of
personal success.  I know the pressures and the excitement of what it’s like
to work for a big company, manage other staff, train employees and learn new
skills.  As a small business owner, I also know what it’s like to be on my own. 
 
I have been trained as a Certified Life Coach through Coach Training Alliance, an International Coaching Federation accredited program.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in ministry, as well as many College Level Courses and some seminars that focus on coaching related issues.  Some of these include Coaching Professionals, Staff Management Tools, Time & Stress Management, Psychology, Sociology, Clinical Interviewing, Counseling, Human Development and Nursing.

On a personal level, I believe in living fully alive and making the most of every moment. I really do challenge myself as much as I challenge my clients. Of course, life is always a work in progress, but I keep moving forward. I do this happily in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of B.C. with my teacher husband and two feline companions.
