Succeed at Being You!

The desire to succeed is natural.  After all, you were meant for
something more. All along, deep inside you’ve known this.  You
may have tried to ignore it, but it’s there.  All your desires point
in that direction and part of you knows that you are capable of
greater things.

Yet, even as you read this, denial so readily wants to pop up and say
“Yeah, right!  All your hopes and dreams are just that…dreams, they’ll
never happen and you’d better give them up in order to learn to get along
in this world. Who do you think you are?”

Well, I have a different message for you today... those hopes and dreams are inside of you for a reason. They contain parts that are tangible and real. They are a compass and a map towards the kind of life that would give you an incredible sense of meaning and purpose.  Maybe it’s time to pay a little closer attention to what your heart has been telling you all along.

You are unique.  Every one of us has something great hidden inside us that has a positive effect on others. Why hide it? Your playing small doesn’t help anyone around you. You want to make a difference in this world. Here’s your opportunity. Find your way of letting the true you come forward.  As your authentic self shines, your light may be a lamp to light someone else’s way.

It’s time to succeed at just being YOU.  How will you know what you can accomplish if you don’t even try?

Today, I invite you to succeed at being all of who you are.  After all, success must begin with you. If it seems too much, then practice just for today.  Be loving and gentle with yourself.  You’ve been hiding for a long time.
